FRT-CHECK-1 Quantitative determination of Ferritin in whole blood, serum or plasma samples

The FRT-CHECK-1 is a rapid screening test for the detection of human ferritin in whole blood, plasma or serum samples to be used as a tool by medical healthcare professionals assessing iron metabolism disorders. The sole measurement of concentration or determination of ferritin is not sufficient to diagnose anaemia or diseases caused by abnormal iron high concentration (hemachromatosis). Additional investigations such as the determination of blood count, hemoglobin concentration or evaluation of iron hepatic overload is necessary.
